A Memorable Tour To Eidfjord
A Place To Remember
On 30th September, we left from Bergen to have a tour in Eidfjord. It was my first experience to be outside of Bergen in Norway. It takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach Eidfjord from Bergen. Bergen has been a beautiful city and I had a tour around the city a day before my tour to Eidfjord.
We left from Bergen at 9:30 and started the journey. I must say that Norway is a wonderful country with a lot of diversity in people around the globe. As we started the journey, I was so lost in the beauty of the landscapes passing by. It was like heaven on Earth. There were farms and beautiful lakes along the way. I could see healthy cows, sheep and lambs grazing over the fields and mountains.
One thing I have heard a lot about is the tunnels in Norway. During our journey, we passed through about 10-12 tunnels and the shortest one was 456m.
Winter is on its way, and the days are getting shorter and colder every day. If you are planning to visit Norway, Summer is the ideal time but if you plan to visit it in Autumn, always start your tour right after sunrise. It is the best time to witness the majestic beauty of the landscapes and lakes passing by.
